Artist Statement:
Liam S Ward is a Scottish Berlin based artist who studied photography in Glasgow (GSA) and specializes in photography, drawing and stopmotion animation. Liam currently works at WC Print Lab Statt Bad Wedding.
Show Description:
This is a solo exhibition showcasing new works from Berlin based Scottish artist Liam S Ward. Liam explores automatic abstract image making through photography, drawing and animation, which steers in the direction of implicit characterization* and storytelling. These works experiment with interdisciplinary techniques to create narratives that can change and be interacted with.

Shipwreck Rats play Irish and Scottish folk and pirate songs. We’re three Scots and a Yank living in Berlin. We have a lot of songs about whaling and people with no trousers on. Let us know if you want us to play in your living room.
Die Shipwreck Rats spielen irische und schottische Musik und Piratenlieder. Wir sind drei SchottInnen und ein Ami, die in Berlin wohnen. Wir haben viele Lieder über aktuelle Themen wie Walfang und Hosenlosigkeit. Sagt Bescheid, wenn wir bei euch im Wohnzimmer spielen sollen!

KR was founded in 2006 by andreas glabutschnig and morgan pekosh. In summer 2007 aya lafillette joined the band. 2012 starts anew with moni maas.
KR connects (or disconnects) various musical concepts (electro pop as well as hip hop, noise, punk and so on) unwilling (or unable) to pursue the ideal of an unmistakable, uniform style.
